Artist Notes

This abstract piece is an analogous representation of the artwork "Beneath the Surface". Like its counterpart, "Beyond the Current" explores the depth and complexity of the human psyche to see beyond arbitrary reference, drawing the viewer in with its subtle use of colour and texture.

The painting features a dynamic composition of overlapping forms and bold brushstrokes, with cool tones that intersect bold lines of orange, creating depth and contrast. The textures in the painting suggest a hidden world beneath the surface, hinting at the idea that there is more to the human experience than what can be seen immediately. The title of the artwork, "Beyond the Horizon", representative too of wonder and possibility, as if there is an entire world waiting to be discovered just beyond what we can see. The artwork invites the viewer to contemplate the mysteries of the universe and its’ the limitless potential.
